Remarques sur la fluorescence des solutions et des gaz

Résumé
A partir d'une hypothèse de Francis Perrin concernant la décroissance exponentielle, en fonction de la concentration, du pouvoir fluorescent d'une solution rapporté à l'unité de masse, les auteurs étudient comment varie l'intensité de la lumière de fluorescence émise par une cuve, en fonction de la concentration de la substance fluorescente et des dimensions de la cuve. Ils montrent que la concentration relative à l'optimum de fluorescence dépend d'une manière complexe des conditions expérimentales. Les mêmes conclusions sont applicables à la fluorescence des gaz.
