Abstract
This paper deals with the effect of killers on ZnS(Ag). The efficiency of the visible blue emission decreases. A red emission for iron, a near-infrared emission for nickel and a farther emission for cobalt are observed. For high concentrations these emissions are also quenched. The effect on absorption and reflection spectra is discussed. A new method for the determination of the absorption coefficient of microcrystals is described in the Appendix.
