Abstract
Analysis of experimental methods in the study of autoionisation effects in β-decay and K capture. Experiments on 55Fe and 32P show agreement with theory but for a still unexplained tail of electrons above 5 keV, in coincidence with 32P β-rays in five cases in a 1000, and whose halfthickness value is 0.2 mg/cm2 Al.
