Sur l'effet d'électrothermoluminescence

Abstract
The electroluminescence of some phosphors is diflerent during cooling and heating ; some maxima appear, not unlike to those of the "glow curves ". This phenomenon, called " electrothermoluminescence ", is ascribed to electron multiplication produced by conduction électrons issued from the traps. The position of the maxima corresponds to that of the glowmaxima ; they are independant of field strength, frequency and heating rate. A similar effect is observed under cathodoexcitation (cathodothermoluminescence).
