Abstract
By shaping properly a cristal of germanium (a Weierstrass sphere is used in the present work) it is possible to observe with high efficiency both the direct recombination of hole electrons pairs round an injecting contact ([FORMULE]), and a far I. R. emission, which is thought to be a consequence of interband transition of accelerated holes.
