The magnetic susceptibility of an MnO single crystal
T.R. McGuire et R.J. HappelUnited States Naval Ordnance Laboratory, White Oak, Maryland, U. S. A.
Abstract
The magnetic susceptibility of an MnO single crystal grown by flame fusion was found to be similar to the powder material ; however, the magnetic field dependence of the susceptibility was larger than the dependence for the powder and in addition extended into the paramagnetic region.
