Appareil de vaporisation dans le vide pour la métallisation de lames d'interféromètre

J. Roig et Descamps

Abstract
The apparatus allows to obtain deposits of silver and aluminium. Characteristic features : 1. Deposition of two interferometer films in succession without admission of air into the chamber. 2. Rotation of the films during deposition with a view to obtaining uniform films. 3. Measurement of the optical density during the operation. 4. The plates are at first protected by shutters which allow preliminary heating of the filament and removal of impurities. 5. The rotation of a single dial placed on top of the chamber controls all the operations.
